Challenges I was starting to have problems with my weight and overall fitness. Although I was working out I felt my overall fitness slipping each year. I have enjoyed running for years. However, as I was gaining weight it became more and more difficult to enjoy running as my joints would hurt. I started my journey at 200 pounds, 28% body fat and on medicine for high cholesterol.
During the initial 10-weeks I lost 31 pounds and had great results on all measurements. I continued with the program and maintained my weight while adding on muscle. Body fat is now at 10%. Most importantly I am no longer any medications and I can enjoy running again, competing in half marathons and Tough Mudders. Motivation Is the friendships I have formed while being a member of the West Dodge Location. The friends keep me motivated and coming back for more each morning at 6:00 am.
